I looked and looked for a classic Caddy under the shade of a tree but when I could find none I attached an ND filter. :-)x

#parsh. I’m loving the flexibility and the ability to capture movement in daylight that comes with an ND filter. I zoomed from 18mm to 55mm with an exposure time of 1/4 or 1/8 sec.

Not a new technique - zooming in or out using a shutter speed that allows some amount of focus on the subject.

I think one critic wrote that that whole movie seemed to have been created solely to pair Eastwood with that car, and all the other details were just kind of tacked on later.

It looks to me as though the zoom was happening while the shutter tripped.

By “n ot sure what” I was referr ing to the end result falling a bit flat. B een thinking about the technique since finding this pic a few years ago.
